Laura Barclay is a Certified Etiquette Consultant, coauthor of The Power of Civility, and co-chair of the Minnesota Workplace Anti-Bulling Committee. Laura's expertise includes community/business/school civility, social/business etiquette, workplace and school anti-bullying and violence prevention, global protocol, employee relations, and developing workplace Codes of Conduct and policy manuals.

Laura has helped thousands of people learn to interact and communicate more effectively. She has been featured on FOX, CBS, NBC, and TLC, on radio, and quoted in publications such as the
Chicago Tribune, Columbus Dispatch, Minnesota Business Magazine, Minneapolis Star Tribune, Myrtle Beach Sun, Seattle Times, St. Paul Pioneer Press, and Twin Cities Business.

Laura is an active member in the International Civility Trainer's Consortium (ICTC), Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Twin Cities Human Resources Association (TCHRA), and Human Resources Professionals of Minnesota (HRP-MN). Laura is a Development Dimensions International (DDI) Certified Facilitator, and certified in the Leadership Spectrum Profile(R). Laura has a Master's Degree in Sociology and has completed Doctoral coursework in Management and Organizational Sociology, both at the University of Minnesota.
